• Property search data — the property address or account number you search for, county selection, and tax year.
• Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We never store your full card number, CVV, or bank account details on our servers.
• Order records — Stripe session ID, county, account number, and download token stored to fulfill your order and provide download access.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To generate and deliver your property tax protest report.
• To verify payment and provide a secure download link.
• To respond to customer service inquiries.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We share data only with the following service providers as necessary to operate:

• Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Vercel — hosting and file storage (PDF delivery).

4. Data Retention

Order records (county, account number, payment status) are retained for accounting and dispute purposes. PDF report files stored for delivery are automatically expired after 7 days.

5. Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies or advertising pixels. Our site may use essential session cookies necessary for functionality only.

6. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Payment processing is handled by Stripe and is PCI DSS compliant. We do not store payment card data.

7. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your order data by contacting us at info@houstonpropertytaxshield.com. We will respond within 30 days.
